I am using Acrobat Reader DC and cannot open a PDF file located on my drive, what should I do?

Follow the procedure below:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat reader DC
  2. Click on « Edition »
  3. Click on « Preferences... »
  4. Click on the Categories « Security (Enhanced) »
  5. Uncheck the box « Run in AppContainer »
  6. Click on OK to validate
  7. Close Adobe Acrobat reader DC
